Morning all, it's Friday again & time for another challenge at Just Magnolia. This weeks challenge is Pink, Pearls & Lace, which is right up my street! & I'm sure will be a popular one with plenty of scope for creativety & different interperatations. The design team have loads of inspiration waiting for you, so be sure to pop over using the link above, then don't forget to enter using Mr. Linky - we'd love to see what you create! Anyhow here's what I did...
...Paper edges have been inked with Walnut Saton then distressed wtih a craft knife. The 'True Love' tab & little postcards, along with the large scalloped square have all been cut from the paper pad. I used 'Tilda with Hawaii Flower' from the Sweet Rainbow '11 collection, one of my fave Magnolia images ever! She's so pretty & I think she looks great in these soft, muted peachy pinks!...
...I've coloued her with Distress Inks & highlighted with Crystal Glamour Dust so she really sparkles!...
...Most of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & are accompanied by Magnolia Doo Hicket Hearl Swirl Die & a shabby seam binding bow. I also added some coreogated card, twine & cheesecloth to add to the shabby, almost rustic effect.
gorgeous card and design deb.
