Magnolia Christmas Card 'Jolly Tilda'

Hey there & I have another Magnolia Christmas card using one of the 2009 collections again - this time in easel form. I love my easel cards & haven't done many recently, so thought it was about time for a festive one! I'm still in traditional X-mas colours & this ones particularly rich & warm in a shabby, vintagy style...

...Designer paper collection is 'Mitten Weather' by Cosmo Cricket in fabulous retro prints. Edges have been inked with Walnut Satin & distressed with a craft knife, I've then added 'Vintage Christmas' Flower Soft to highlight. Here's a closer look..

...This is 'Jolly Tilda' from the 2009 So Jolly collection & she looks great in these warm red & greens, so much detail on the presents with the lovely wrapping paper. Image has been coloured with Copic markers...

...The glitter highlights are Crystal Glamour dust & really sparkle when they catch the light, especially in the dark - perfect for theose winter nights by the fire!...

Photobucket

...Mullberry flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & the handmade paper ones are made from a Marriane Design die, using the spiral technique. All flowers have been distressed with white paint...

Photobucket

...The lovely ribbon is by Maya Road & is really Christmasy!, I've tied in a knot then added a button tied with white hemp & a silver heart charm. The edge puch is Martha Stewart doily lace & the swirl you can just see is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die, both cut from Lime Green Prism card-stock ...

...The sentiment has been wrote in Cosmo Cricket mini-alphas & I've stamped with Stamps Away Christmas Postage stamp..

Photobucket

...Heres a look at the matching box I made from white Bazzil card-stock, the tag is a Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3 die & sits on circular die cut & off whtie doily mathcing the one fo the card front...
