Hey everyone - it seems like its been an age since I posted so its great to be back! I've been making some Magnolia X-mas cards with some of my old Magnolia stamps that I went mad stamping loads of images of when I first got them. Anyhow I came across them & thought they deserved some colour!!!
Heres the first one I made using 'Tilda with Christmas Cracker' from the 'So Jolly' collection...
...I've made them in my fave shabby chique style, which this cheese cloth really adds to the effect of - lovin' my cheese cloth at the mo!!! Here's a closer look...
...I've used a Fancy Pants stamp around the edges & corners of the image & paper, stmaped in Tim Holtz Walnut Stain ink. Paper edges have then been inked also & distressed with craft knife. Image has been (unusually for me) coloured with Copics, & although I do prefer my Distress Inks, I love the vibrancy of the reds & greens for christmas makes...
...Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts & I think these are percect for festive makes!. They have been slightly distressed with white paint...
...The border puch you can just see in the photo above is Martha Stweart PATP French Scroll edge punch. Below is a shabby ribbon bow with rose & charm..
...I'd like to enter into the following competitions...

Paper Sundeas - Beautiful Bows

ReplyDeleteOMW is this gorgeous!!! Never seen this cute Tilda before and your colouring is again so stunning just like anything else on the card!! In Holland we call this "wound gaze" and the pharmecist must think that loads of ladies hurt themselves in an incredible way because sales are sky high since 2 months, lol!!!
