Marvelous Magnolia #3 'Traditional X-mas Colours'

Hey all, today it's time for another fabulous challenge at Marvelous Magnolia. Today we'd like to see you use 'Traditional Christmas Colours'. Anyhow on to my card, I've done so many 6x6" cards recently that I thought it was about time for one of my more interesting layouts & I haven't done the half circle blank with circular topper thing for quite some time now, so that's just what I made...

This is actually a Summer Tilda stamp, but I thought she looked just as good as a Christmas fairy! She has been coloured with Distress Inks & highlighted with Crystal Glamour Dust.

 

Distress Inks:

Skin - Tattered Rose, Old Paper

Hair - Antique Linen, Walnut Satin, Scattered Straw

Top, Boots, Flower - Victorian Velvet, Fired Brick

Shorts, boots trim & foliage - Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage

Crown - Pumice Stone

Shading - Pumice Stone & Black Soot

 

 

I sprayed the ocversized fairy charm with white primer spray paint & tied her with twine in a double bow. The mini-alphas have been stuck onto kraft cardstock tabs that I made for the sentiment. Shabby ribbon bow made with seam binding & set with a buttin & Santa Rocks brad!

 

 

I made some more little scrolls, this time tied with twine, I also made an ornate pin from metal spacers & pearl beads, these flowers are from WOC.
