Hey all - today has been such a lovely Spring day here (the first one not so sunny Manchester's seen for a while!), which has really put me in a great mood! It makes such a difference to your day when the sun shines, don't you think?!
Anyhow today it's time for another challenge at Deep Ocean, and we'd like to see 'Flowers and Fantasy' - so many different ways you could interperate this one & the design team have a varied range of inspiration waiting for you...just click on the link above. Now onto my card...
It's been a while since I've used a stamped image other than Tilda & thought it was about time I give another brand a go for a change! I love these Sugar Nellie 'Simply Sassy' stamps and have a few from when I guest designed for them a while back but haven't rerally used them since. I've just ordered my first Saturated Canary stamp actually and these really remind me of them in style and form. This particular one is 'Star Dust' and works great for whimsical & fantasy type projects.
Image had been coloured with Distress Inks & highlighted with Crystal Glamour Dust & Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Glitter. The organza ribbon was white & I coloured it with several shades of blue Distress Ink, sprayed lightly with water then heated with a heat gun.
Flowers are a mixture of kort & godt, Prima, Kaisercraft & WOC.
Thanks for looking!
