Morning all & today it's time for another challenge over at Marvelous Magnolia. We have a fabulous sponser for a lucky winner which is The Rubber Buggy. They have a massive collection of Magnolia stamps including the newer Once Upon a Time, The Special Moments (in stock as soon as released) as well as a wide selection of Tildas from the older collections. They also stock colouring mediums including Tim Holtz Distress Inks, COPICS, great paper collections including Magnolia, Graphic 45, Prima & some lovely lace, trims & embellishments. It really is a great One Stop craft supplier, so why not head over by clicking on the link & check it out for yourself!
Now onto my card. I used 2 of my new Once Upon a Time stamps & masked them to make this popular scene - she sits on so perfectly doesn't she?!!...
Shaped card blank is made with Go Kreate Frilly Frame #5, edges have been inked using a blending tool in Antique Linen then Walnut Stain Distress Ink & sewn on the machine. Beautiful papers are from the new Maja Design Vintage Spring collection.
Around the image I have added Shabby White Frantage embossing powder & set with a heat tool.
Distress Inks:
Skin - Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, shading with Walnut Stain
Cheeks - Tattered Rose mixed with Aged Mahogony
Hair - Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, shading in Black Soot
Dress & hair bow - Pumice Stone, shading Black Soot
Slippers - Victorian Velvet, shading Pumice Stone
Bedding - Victorian Velvet, Squeezed Lemonade & Pumice Stone layers, shading with Black Soot
Above shows removable tags tucked inbetween card layers. I cut the 2 wool hearts out of an old baby cardigan! Below shows tape measure paper strips, Tim Holtz metal tab & vintage buttons.
I made a bottle top using the hammering technique & embellished with Shabby White Frantage. I die cut a small circle & painted with Crackle Paint, I added a LOTV sentimet from their Calendar stamp set & a cut out hand (from That Special Touch of packaging).
I'd like to enter into the following challenges:
Totally Tilda - Pink Princess
MDUC - Something that moves (removable tags)
Midweek Magnolias - Die cuts/ Punches
Creative Inspirations - Magnolia Madness
Dutch Magnolia Lovers - Inspired by a Song 'Dream a little Dream of me' (The Mamas & Papas)
Songbird - Bloom & Grow
Tildas Town - Use a Magnolia Background Stamp
Thanks for looking.
