Hi there & today I'm guest designing at Belles & Whistles - one of my all time fave stamp companies - sooooo chuffed!!! I've made a card & box set in this weeks challenge theme which is 'Sparkle' - to use glitter & bling. Don't orget to head over to their blog for more fabulous inspiration from the design team, using the link above...
...The stunning paper collection is 'Pixie Glen' by Prima & has such beautiful muted shades of blue, pink & beige as well as stunning innovative designs. Here's a closer look...
...For the Sparkle element I've highlighted the images & papers with Crystal Glamour Dust & added Crackle paint to the white flowers & Tim Holtz grunge board die cut brakets, which doesn't show up much on the photos but gives a broken glass effect that really sparkles when it catches the light...
...This simply gorgeous & somewhat understated but classy & extreemly effective image is 'Patches & Braides' from the Sweet Art Girls 2 collection & looks fantastic in these soft pastel shades I've crated using Distress Inks, which are just perfect for these kinds of colour schemes...
...Beautiful mullberry paper flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts, the handmade paper spiral flowers have been created usign Marriane Design die in papers from the collection...
...Notice the cheese cloth that gives a really shabby effect & the pretty pearls sprayed I've added in a circle...
...I've knotted some of the white lace & added a handmade pearl pin with bell charm...
...Above is the inside of the card decorated in the same designer papers & below is the matching box, both with 2 beautiful Martha Stewart punched butterflies & Viva Decor Silver Glitter Pearl trails. The postage stamp is a HOTP one in Walnut Satin...
