For my card I wanted a fantasy/ mystical feel with a subtle sheen, rather than in your face glitter. I choose this particularly stunning little fairy image from sheet 60 which you can purchase for 1.99 & has 3 other great images on too. You can find this sheet, along with the rest of the Whoopsi Daisy images here.
Now here's what I did with it...
Stunning & mystical papers are by Basic Grey, flowers are mostly from Wild Orchid Crafts. Notice the cute little doily under the image, which co-ordinates nicely with the white floral lace & the ornate corner pirece that I sprayed to match as it actually started out life being silver! The edge punch is Martha Stewart doily & any of you who visit regularly will know its a sure favourite of mine! Also notice the groovy lil' acrylic heart. By Maya Road they come clear & I've painted one side with white & blue acrylic, applying each seperately with a dry brush effect. Then turn over & stamp the sentimenty with black Staz On & finished with a bit of grosgrain ribbon. You may only just be able to see the Tim Holtz wing tucked behind those flowers, with hind-sight I'd of liked it to show more & not really sure why its not coem to think of it cause I defo planned it to!!! That one's been painted with pale pink acrylic then the embossed parts highlighted with Stickles glitter glue.
